Suggested Brewing methods

Here we simply tell you some measurements we have found to be the best way to get the most out of your cup of ragged beans.

FRENCH PRESS:

8 cup press, 56 grams coarse ground beans (think kosher salt), 860 grams of water heated to 198℉, steep 4 minutes, press, enjoy.

POUR OVER:

1- (10oz) mug, 18 grams medium/fine ground beans (think sand), 270 grams of water heated to 198℉

DRIP:

1 tablespoon of medium ground beans (think table salt) per cup.

*Notes-if using brown paper filter rinse before use, bleached filter use as is. Metal mesh filters are a great alternative (reusable) and they let more oils through for a bolder, richer cup.

*Grinding right before brewing is always recommended.

Try your own methods, there is no right or wrong. It’s how you like to drink your cup. This is just how we RAGGED people like to drink our coffee. Enjoy!
